So I am not so good at blogging but my plan is to get better at it :) A lot has happened since Jan. 28th (my last post!) .... SO we got engaged (as you know) and then a few weeks later bought a house! We closed on it March 2nd-- and then a few days later I left for England for a whole month and now (April 29th) I feel like I am somewhat back to normal life! However- we are moving this wkd into our home and all the chaos begins again :) Stay tuned for pictures and such! The wedding date is officially MAY 15, 2010 by the way!

Engaged:)

Well Nate and I are engaged! I was visiting Nate in Mishawaka and he asked me if I would like to go to dinner at Tabor Hill Winery for dinner. We had gone there for our 1 year anniversary for a wine tasting but we never ate dinner there because it was a little pricey. So we drove there that evening... it was beautiful. The winery is set back in the woods and we drove there through the snow to Michigan. We thought we would be the only people there but it was packed! We did a wine tasting and then were seated in this beautiful log cabin style room with modern lights everywhere and a huge fireplace and flowers everywhere. We had filet mignon and swordfish and an amazing chocolate cheesecake dessert. After dinner I told Nate I still wanted to get a picture so he asked one of the ladies up front to take our picture in front one of the other fireplaces. The lady was getting ready to take the picture and as she was saying 1...2... Nate said "Wait a minute!!" and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I asked him if he was serious and then I started crying uncontrolably! All the ladies were smiling and congratulating us and then the lady who did our wine tasting was yelling out "I waited on them!" and then she started crying!

We then drove back to Mishawaka and as we were getting ready to go back to his apartment he drove right past it! I asked where we were going? and he told me to get a celebratory drink. So I was like "Ok." I thought he was pulling into Hooters restaurant and then he drove past it to the Hyatt and he had got a room there earlier in the day and put rose petals everywhere, chocolates, wine, cheese, and had bought me PJs from Victoria Secrets (comfy ones!!!) and toothbrushes etc. It was a PERFECT engagement night and I couldnt ask for more!!
